Every task
Your plan should include every task that needs doing before you move. Packing, in particular, should be broken up to specify the areas or items that need packing. This is done because you will want to pack in a particular order. Your belongings should be packed based on how often something is used. If you know that you will still need something before the move, packing it will just create more work for you. You don't want to have to go through boxes every time you need something. When dividing tasks, you will want to give people things that they are good at. In addition to this, you should also take peoples preferences into account where possible. The better that someone is at a task and the more they enjoy it, the faster they will finish it.
You also need to consider how much work you are giving to each person. Ideally, this will be done with peoples schedules and individual capabilities in mind. If someone is constantly busy, it doesn't make sense to give them the same amount of work as someone with a lot of free time. Similarly, if you have children or elderly people in your household, you must be aware that they won't be capable of the same workload as an able-bodied adult.
Giving a person too much or too little work will slow down the whole process; You will get the same result when giving people tasks that they are ill-suited for.
